Universal Kids Resort Coming to Texas in 2026 – All 7 Themed Lands Revealed!
A brand-new Universal theme park is coming to Texas — and it’s made just for families with young kids. Universal Destinations & Experiences officially announced that Universal Kids Resort will open in Frisco, TX in 2026, featuring seven immersive lands from fan-favorite franchises like Shrek, Trolls, Jurassic World, SpongeBob SquarePants, Puss in Boots, and more.
Universal’s goal? To design an entire theme park from the ground up through a child’s eyes.
“Every detail was designed through a child’s eyes—from signs at their height to colors that invite them in. The result is a park that celebrates the joy of being a kid,” said Molly Murphy, President of Universal Creative.
